She Would Have Been So Proud

Lately, I have been thinking about how proud of her family Adeline was. Adeline always wanted to be our family cheerleader and she celebrated our successes and joys with us. This is probably why doing anything and being successful feels so painful for me. I am not able to have her with me.

One of the things that hurts the most is knowing how proud she would have been for her family, for those of us that she loved the most. She would have been so proud of her dad for how he has taken care of us and for how he has taken are of Lovebug. She would have loved the dog and knowing that daddy takes care of the dog when he didn't really prefer dogs before is something that would have really impressed her.

She would have been so proud of Andrew for finding his passion and choosing a career path in life while he is at school. She would have been proud of his grades and what he is accomplishing.

She would have been so proud of Althea for all that she has overcome and for how beautifully she can dance. She would have been proud of her for being brave and being in the school play and musical and for joining chorus. She would have been the most proud little sister!

She would have been proud of Huxley for all that he works towards in his sports and for the new things that he tries. She would have been proud to hear how kind he has been to others who have needed kindness shown their way.

I try to think about what she would have been proud of me for, but to be honest, I am not certain what it would have been. I think that she would be proud of how I try to carry her memory and her spirit forward. I think she would have been proud of me for finishing my Master's and for getting good grades. I think that she would have been proud of me for trying so hard.

So, in the spirit of my girl. I decided to create a fun little kindness BINGO game. I am including the board here. Play the game with your family or even alone. Share kindness with others and as you share that kindness tell them about my sweet girl. Share a story about Adeline if you knew her or let others know that she was inspiration for the kindness if you don't. Then if you can, please share your pictures in the group (if you are in there) or send them to me here, and the way that you are playing the game or send them to me.
